Solvers in the puzzle are given a list of seemingly random letters. Inspecting these strings reveals that they are two words interwoven every other letter. With some help from the title and flavor text, it should be obvious that these words are two members of a set of three, so it is necessary to find the missing member of the trio.

The first letters of the missing member give the letters MZOALPTDROESS. This string doesn’t make sense on its own, but the same process can be repeated with it to give MOLTRES and ZAPDOS, two of the legendary birds from the first-generation Pokemon games. The missing bird is ARTICUNO, the answer.
