This puzzle gives a list of mixed up color names in alphabetical order. The unscrambled colors are:

The puzzle also contains a grid with boxes numbered with numbers from 1-24. The grid can be colored with the colors given, or solvers may notice that the colors given are all shades of red, orange, yellow, blue, and violet – with the possible exception of beige, which is shown here as a yellow, but was deliberately kept from being in any important location.
In the completed color-by-number, certain patches of color stand out, and these can be read as letters. When read left-to-right, top-to-bottom, the hidden letters spell out GREENISH, a word which describes none of the colors in this puzzle.
*It came to my attention after this puzzle was published that VERMILION – with only one L – is the standard spelling. However, since the two-L version is considered acceptable – if rarer, I elected to leave it as-is.
