[Solution] No Comprendo – 14 December 2020

You may quickly notice that the words on the left side are all in Spanish, and those on the right are in French. A line drawn between two words with the same meaning will pass through letters which spell the English translation, with one missing letter. (for example, connecting AMIGA to AMIE yields _RIEND. Since amiga and amie are the words for friend in Spanish and French respectively, the missing letter is F.)

Filling in the missing letters into the empty circles gives the following diagram:

The Spanish and French words for FRIEND, THANKS, MOTHER, RED, FOUR, CAT, HELLO, and MONDAY, connected by their English translations.

If you read the formerly missing letters from top to bottom, you get the phrase FRENCH ME. The French word for “me” is MOI, which is the answer.
