    [Solution] Bravo, Charlie!

As the title suggests, this puzzle uses the NATO phonetic alphabet. Each of the puzzle answers is a synonym or reference to one of the letters in that alphabet. Additionally, the flavor text of this puzzle suggests that not only are the previous puzzle answers necessary, but the previous flavor texts will provide an ordering.

    ANSWERNATO LETTERFLAVOR TEXT
HOLE IN ONEGOLFBetter to take five minutes to check your work than an hour arguing over points.
REPEATECHOThere’s what’s being said, and how it’s being said. Of the two, I prefer the latter.
FIRST PRIZEVICTORI’ve been playing games with my pen pal. X went first on each one of these boards.
    YOGI BERRAYANKEE“Four score and…” – Oh wait, it’s a different quote.
BOLOGNAOSCAR (My bologna has a first name…)It’s six of one and half a dozen of the other.
PJ MASKSROMEO (Villain from the show)Each of these answers has three parts.
NILEDELTAThese words were supposed to be in eight groups, but they got all scrambled up!
MUPPETOSCAROn Christmas Eve, Scrooge was visited by the ghosts who sailed the seven seas.

Observant solvers will note that each of these flavor texts has exactly one number between one and eight included. Using these numbers to order the NATO letters gives the solution VERY GOOD.

    [Hint] Bravo, Charlie!

Bravo, Charlie!, the November-December metapuzzle, has now been out for a week. If you need some help, check the bottom of this post.

The first puzzle of the new year is Migration Pattern. This one is for the birds.

Each puzzle answer corresponds to a particular letter in the NATO alphabet. You will need to review the flavor texts for all eight puzzles to figure out what order to put them in.

    [Meta] Bravo, Charlie! – 29 December 2025

The solution to Turn the Runt, the puzzle from two weeks ago, is now up. Additionally, the hint for last week’s Crossover is available if you need it.

It’s the final Monday of 2025, which means it’s time for the November-December metapuzzle, Bravo, Charlie! Use the solutions from the past eight weeks to solve it, then come back next week for the start of a new set of puzzles.

      [Solution] Five Years Later

Other than the references to five years, there is no information given besides the eight puzzle answers. Solvers may notice that the puzzle answers begin with the first eight letters of the alphabet, suggesting an ordering.

Using the five year theming, and reading down the fifth letters of each answer gives the solution HIGH FIVE. Give yourself a high five for solving another metapuzzle!

      [Hint] Five Years Later

The September-October metapuzzle Five Years Later has been out for a week now. There’s not a lot of hint I can give, but there’s a bit of a nudge below.

The new puzzle for this week is Scorecards. Make sure you read to the bottom of the puzzle if you haven’t already!

Looking at the eight answers, it should be pretty easy to put them in order, but how can you decide which letter to select from each solution? This puzzle doesn’t give you much to go off of.

[Meta] Five Years Later – 27 October 2025

It has now been one week since the puzzle Which Brew was posted. Check out the hint if you need some help. The solution to Time Heist from two weeks ago is up as well.

The metapuzzle for September-October is Five Years Later, written in celebration of hitting five years of this site at the beginning of September. (No, the puzzle content isn’t missing – this is a pure metapuzzle. All you really need to solve the puzzle are the answers to the previous eight puzzles.)

        [Solution] Just a Few Notes

Each of the seven feeder answers (DON’T ASK ME WHY, RESCUE WORKER, MICROPRINTED, FALSE ECONOMY, SOLOMON GRUNDY, LABORATORIES, AND TIME TRAVELER) begin with a solfege tone (DO, RE, MI, FA, SOL, LA, TI). In fact, each of the answers contains exactly ten letters after the solfege tone.

The given tune also contains ten notes. In order, they are DO, LA, TI, FA, RE, FA, LA, MI, DO, and SOL. Taking the first letter after the DO, the second letter after the LA, and so on, gives the following:

The highlighted letters spell out the answer NOTEWORTHY.
